Misprints are usually irritating, but sometimes are unintentionally (though delightfully) creative. I have in front of me a book published last year on the subject of religions at the beginning of the Christian era. In a paragraph about the religion of Isis, we are told that his son Horus was said to be the Son of God. "Through participation in his life and death through the rituals of the religion, members of this cult were promised immorality". I hope they weren't disappointed.
